Important: New security requirements to attend WYC 2016
In order to ensure delegate security, the Government of India has mandated a process that all WYC 2016 delegates must adhere to in order to access the conference venue in New Delhi. Please note, whether you are on site at the conference for one minute or one week, the process is the same.
This process is led by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Conference organizers are responsible for supporting this process and for communicating with conference delegates. The process involves four steps:
- Complete your registration
A registration desk will be available to finalize this on site, but you may experience significant delays. To avoid any delays at the conference, please complete your registration and submit full payment prior to September 31st, 2016, 23:59 IST.
- Submit required registration and security information online
To expedite the security process, every delegate will need to complete their registration for WYC 2016 and submit their up-to-date passport information (or national ID for). This mandatory information is being collected by conference organizers on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for issuing Visa and other security concerns to attend the Conference. We will not share this with any other parties.
- Pakistan, China and Afghanistan Delegates:
Participants from Pakistan, China and Afghanistan for applying Conference Visa is strictly depend on the subject to Clearance from Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
- Print your conference voucher and have it on site with you
After your registration is complete, you will receive a printable conference voucher by 30 October 2016 that confirms your registration and attendance. It is very important that you print this voucher and bring it with you.
We are adding significant staff support to help ensure this process is as fast and smooth as possible. We ask that you arrive at least 45 minutes early to complete the accreditation process before entering the conference centre.
